For over 25 years, Harry and Jan Sweere worked together to build and grow their business Ergotron, which became the worldwide leader in providing ergonomic computer mounting solutions. Harry loved solving problems in the marketplace, and together they shared a passion for providing careers and opportunities for a workforce they cared for deeply. But for all they accomplished in business, it paled in comparison to their desire to share the love of Christ with their community.
Harry and Jan’s journey of building their family business was filled with peaks and valleys – including days when the dream was almost shattered – but through it all they kept their focus on Christ and never wavered in their hopes of someday growing His kingdom with the fruit of their labor.
Although we mourn the early loss of this amazing couple, we rejoice in their determination to establish this Foundation. Harry and Jan knew that all they had belonged to God and any earthly success they achieved was a product of His good grace and mercy. The Harry & Jan Sweere Foundation honors their memory by working to grow the kingdom of God and sharing the good news of Christ.
May this Foundation always remain true to the Christian faith and conservative values Harry and Jan held so dear.
